17 May TRAKPAK CASE STUDY: GEMPORIA
Gemporia first engaged with P2P in August 2014 when we were looking to improve our delivery offering primarily into the United States but also needed a robust service into Europe, Australia and South Africa.
From the offset I realised that P2P were well versed in international logistics solutions and were partnered with people who were willing to flex to meet customer’s needs. Gemporia’s requirements for a solution were not easy yet P2P listened to the requirements and then swiftly set up a solution which is still in place today.
Complementing P2P’s bespoke solution for Gemporia on all our customs, duty and returns requirements is P2P’s Trakpak solution. Trakpak works well not only internally but more importantly the customers find the tracking easy to use. Trakpak holds more than adequate information to keep the customer updated on their parcel delivery at every stage during transit. P2P’s integration solutions are also a welcome fit for our in-house IT department.
Instrumental in the set up between the two businesses were Gary Tervit, Operations Director, and Mark Jackson, Business Development Manager. Mark is also responsible for the day to day relationship. So efficient is P2P’s operation that there is generally little need to call on Mark’s services but if any information is ever required Mark is on the case immediately and he is a credit to his organisation.
